Work Order Routing

Press Routing in the WO Positions Detail header to see the operations assigned to this position. Each row is one work step in the production sequence, in the order it is carried out.

The list is the work order's own copy of the routing. It is exploded from the item's Routing when the position is created, and can be changed afterwards without affecting the item's master data.

Actions

One action is specific to this list; the rest of the tool bar is the standard one.

Action	Icon	Description
Renumber		Renumbers the whole list in the order it is in, closing the gaps left by deleted or inserted steps. Asks to confirm first, and is refused on a closed position.

Default Columns

Field	Description
Image	Image or icon saved for the operation.
Position	The operation's place in the production sequence.
Closed	When enabled, the operation is closed and no longer confirmed.
Type	The operation type, e.g. "Internal" or "External".
Description	The long description of the operation.
Operation Code	The code of the operation as defined in the operation catalog.
Resource	The resource — machine or work center — that carries out the operation. See Resources.
Setup Time	Planned time needed to set up before the operation can run.
Run Time	Planned time needed to actually run the operation.
Start Date	The planned start date and time of the operation.
Active	When the operation is active it takes part in scheduling.

The time column labels follow your time-type configuration. Setup Time, Run Time, Rework and Quality Control are the default names; a system configured with its own time types shows those names instead.

Additional Columns

Column	Description
Position ID	Internal identifier of the operation within the position.
Setup Time Capacity	Setup time that counts against the resource's capacity.
Rework	Planned rework time.
Quality Control	Time reserved for quality control.
Use Factor	Factor applied to the operation's time.
Work Steps	Number of work steps in the operation.
Idle Time	Idle time after the operation.
Overlap Limit	Overlap with the next operation.
Number of Payslips	Number of payslips for the operation.
Quantity per Time	Output quantity produced per time unit.
Time Unit	Time base the quantity per time refers to.
Resource Allocation	How the resource is allocated (Simple, Quantity, Percent).
Allocation Quantity	Quantity used for the resource allocation.
End Date	The planned end date and time of the operation.
Total Start Date	Start of the operation including transfer and wait time.
Total End Date	End of the operation including transfer and wait time.
Transfer Start	Start of the transfer time before the operation.
Transfer End	End of the transfer time before the operation.
Wait Start	Start of the wait time after the operation.
Wait End	End of the wait time after the operation.
Actual Time	The time actually recorded on the operation.
Milestone	Marks the operation as a milestone.
Milestone Date	The date the milestone is reached.
QC Inspection Plan	The linked quality-control inspection plan.
Cost Center	The cost center the operation is booked to.
Color	Colour assigned to the operation.
Instructions	Work instructions for the operation.
Attachment 1 … Attachment 3	The files attached to the operation.
Supplier	The supplier carrying out an external operation.
Item	The subcontracting item used for an external operation.
Price per unit	Subcontracting price per unit.
Price factor	Factor the subcontracting price refers to.
Currency	Currency of the subcontracting price.
Minimum price	Minimum subcontracting price.
Shipping price	Shipping price for the external operation.
Shipment lot size	Lot size the shipping price refers to.
Purchase Order Warehouse	Warehouse used for the subcontracting purchase order.
Original Position	The operation this one was copied from.
Time Recording	Whether time recording is enabled for the operation.
Time Recording Date	The time-recording date.
Time Recording Mandatory	Requires a time receipt before the operation can be completed.
Module	The module the operation belongs to.
Wage Group	The wage group of the operation.
Processing Type	The processing type of the operation.
Multi-Machine Requirement	Number of resources the operation requires at once.
Time Type	The time type of the operation.
Time Type ID	Identifier of the time type.
Subcontract Flag	Marks the operation as subcontracted.
Phantom Assembly Group	The phantom assembly group the operation belongs to.
Phantom Assembly Group Position	The operation's position inside the phantom assembly group.
Phantom Assembly Group Quantity	Quantity contributed by the phantom assembly group.
Scrap Factor	Scrap expressed as a factor.
Marginal Cost Rate	Marginal cost rate per minute.
Full Cost Rate	Full cost rate per minute.
