Updating InterCompany

Best practice for updating InterCompany is as follows.

Before you start, it is recommended that you backup your InterCompany databases (BOY-IC-COMMON and company databases).

1.Update the SAP B1 add-on.

a.Go to Administration à Add-Ons à Add-On Administration.

b.Click "Register Add-On".

c.Click the "..." button next to "Registration Data File".

d.Navigate to where you have the new version of InterCompany and select the "Installer.ard" file.

e.Click the "OK" button.

f.Once SAP B1 is done installing the update, restart SAP B1.

g.Log into the company and start the add-on.

h.Repeat step g. for each company in the InterCompany setup.

2.Update the service module.

a.After updating the add-on, run the "Setup.exe" found in the "IntercompanyService" folder.

b.If the InterCompany service module has been installed in non-default location, then select the installation folder, otherwise skip this step.

c.Check the "I agree to the License terms and conditions." checkbox.

d.Click the "Install" button.

e.Once done, click the "Finish" button.
