Headquarter Configuration

After finishing the database configuration, next step is to select headquarter for the B1 InterCompany setup.

This headquarter is the primary database where you change your configurations and maintain all your master data.

It means any updates regarding master data update, should be performed from headquarter.

It will still be possible to update master data from the subsidiary databases, but any update from headquarter will overwrite the data in the subsidiary if the field is selected in the synchronization setup.

You also have the possibility to setup the master data synchronization to only add new data without continuously updating the master data.

To define which database is considered the headquarter database.

To setup headquarter go to; Administration à Add-ons à B1 InterCompany à Configuration.

Select database and click the button ‘’Lock HQ’’

IMPORTANT: After selecting and locking headquarter it is NOT possible to change it.
