Before a filter can be used in a calendar it need to added to a source.
To add a filter to a Calendar Source you need the Parameter Name and Default Value for the filter, which is then used as part of the Sources Where Condition as shown below
NB: All Calenders there use a source with a filter will get the filters unless the calendar has filters hidden
